Weekend Power Familiarization Flying at Pitt Meadows Airport (CYPK) on Saturday, Sept 26. The meeting point is the main terminal building, 18799 Airport Way, Pitt Meadows. Email 819air@cadets.gc.ca with your full name, contact phone number and other 819 cadets who wish to be on the same plane as you. NEW cadets are welcome to sign up.
Cadets are expected to arrive at the airport 30 minutes before their assigned departure time. This allows time to complete the necessary documentation and a safety briefing. Flying staff will have an area set up in the main
terminal to take attendance and sign cadets in for their assigned flight.
Each flight accommodates three cadets, for a total capacity of up to 27 cadets

The entire experience, including the pre-takeoff briefing, takes a little over one hour. For example, a cadet assigned to the 0945 departure is expected to report to ground staff no later than 0915 and will normally be finished and free to leave by approximately 1030.
DRESS
Cadets are to wear appropriate civilian attire suitable for the weather and the aviation activity.
