Cadets need to arrive at CFS Abbotsford on time in order to be escorted onto the air field. Cadets can sign up by emailing 819air@cadets.gc.ca with their full name, contact phone number and whether they want morning or afternoon.
Cadets should wear appropriate civilian attire, and should be aware that the airfield environment can change from warm and comfortable to windy and miserably cold (and vice versa) within just a couple of hours. Bring enough water and snacks for when you are waiting your turn.
Directions to CFS Abbotsford, which is on the east side of the airport (NOT at the terminal building). From Highway 1, the route to CFS Abbotsford is via south on Mt. Lehman Road, east on Simpson Road, south on Queen Street through the airport gate, then east and curving south to the Abbotsford Air Show compound.
