FTX April 19-21

Cadets arrive at the North Delta Rec Center on Friday April 19 by 5:00pm, bus will leave promptly at 6pm. The site is off Iverson Rd near Chilliwack. Cadets will return to the Rec Center on Sunday  April 21 between 2-3pm.

FTX is a weekend-long survival exercise in which cadets will learn the fundamentals and basics of aircrew survival and improvised shelters. Cadets will learn orienteering, how to build shelters and a fire out of materials found in the woods or in nature. Cadets are encouraged to attend all FTX opportunities. 

KIT LIST; Cadets wear their FTUs (Field Training Uniform) if they have one, other wise weather appropriate clothing.  Cadets must be able to carry everything they bring as there is a short hike to get to the site.

NO CELL PHONE SERVICE Cadets may bring a phone but will not have service on site.  Any prescription medication must be in original packaging and clearly labled. Office staff must be informed, this  policy is from Pacific Region for Cadets and must be adhered to.
